The Role

The Bloomberg Professional Service is used world-wide by brokers, traders, and analysts. You will join a team and gain responsibility for the full lifecycle of a portion of our product; making a tangible contribution to the design, implementation and testing of software. This position leads to a variety of career paths ranging from highly technical to more business and financially oriented. An extensive training program provides the Bloomberg specific technical and financial skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of finance and technology.

Requirements
- Strong desire to analyse business problems and translate them into working software applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
- You must be highly detail oriented and have a desire to write software
- BSc/BA, MSc/MA, or PhD in, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Finance , Accounting or equivalent experience is required
- Fluency in 1 programming language plus knowledge of a 2nd is essential
