The Role:
Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced economy editor, to be based in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will have proven experience of editing for a news service or financial newspaper, and will be prepared to guide reporters on sourcing, interviewing, writing, accuracy and clarity.
Joining a team of more than 20 journalists, the editor will be expected to encourage reporters to write features that explain and illustrate the European economy and European Central Bank monetary policy to a global audience.
Qualifications:
- Journalism experience is essential
- Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
- Fluent German and English essential
- An understanding or economic issues and central banking
